ClearComp 是一顆純類比電路建構的壓縮效果器，標榜高透明度、低渲染性的壓縮效果，DSM Humboldt 的獨家技術 “Dynamic Threshold Topology” (DT Topology)，對比市面上大多數的壓縮效果器運作原理是由使用者設定固定的threshold (壓縮作動的門檻)，然後將超過的音量做動態抑制(gain reduction)到所設定的 threshold，而 Clear Comp 的DT Topology技術則是根據彈奏的動態隨時調整threshold，將超過的音量做定量抑制，以此方式達成高度自然、透明而且超低雜訊的壓縮效果，最大化的保留原始動態及音色，DT Topology技術讓 ClearComp 可運用於電吉他、電Bass、Vocal….各式不同樂器，特別在錄音及live使用都有更明顯的動態加強效果。
